Vocal Training with AMJ Theatrical AoPA

All our vocal classes take place at Woodlands Arts Centre.

We teach vocals as part of our Musical Theatre offering and also as Private lessons.

Private tuition ranges from £35 per hour upto £45 per hour.

All of our singing lessons are taught in the genre of Musical Theatre. Our vocal teachers all have experience in the Musical Theatre industry and tailor their lessons to each student.

We cover all fundamental aspects of singing including breathing technique, pitch and rhythm, repertoire development, performance and emotion. We help our students develop their confidence and stage presence to give them the tools they need to portray and perform different characters live on stage.

We give students regular vocal assessment to track their progression.

We concentrate on every student achieving their optimal vocal range by giving tailored exercises to help strengthen and increase their octaves in range.

We expect each student to practice at home during the week by completing scale exercises specially tailored to each student.
